Finding Freedom – Mullumbimby Civic Centre
I was engaged for PA hire and production by Finding Freedom, a benefit for refugees at the Mullumbimby Civic Centre. In the spirit of community, I provided my B Rig with 2 x HK Audio CTA-118 subs and 2 x CTA-208 elements, 2 x LD Systems ICOA12A powered 12″ speakers used as delays, two channels of Shure SLX-D radio microphones, 4 x Audix condenser mics for the choir and various Radial SB DI’s for the band. Added entertainment was provided by Elliot Orr’s amazing Zormiwasa African Drum Ensemble, who provided an incredible crescendo to the night.
A very difficult day setting up a lot of equipment around 60 people rehearsing for the choir, but I managed to get it all up and running with about 5 minutes to spare!
