Candlelight Classical Concerts – St John’s Cathedral
A busy week with two shows for VAST-AV at St John’s Cathedral mixing two Candlelight shows; the first with Paradiso Strings and their renditions of Tracy Chapman and The Beatles and the second with Chromatica Collective and their wonderful classical arrangements. Equipment used was 4 x JBL EON612 powered 12″ speakers with two used as delays, 2 x JBL EON610 powered 10″ speakers used for in-fill a Yamaha TF1 console and TIO 1608 Stage Box the microphones used were DPA 4099 hyper-cardioid.
St John’s Cathedral is one of the hardest rooms acoustically in Brisbane and I was extremely pleased with the result.
